A pre-conference event is being held the afternoon of Wednesday 15 October for the Danish business, research and design communities. This even culminates in the pre-conference talk by Maria Bezaitis and Jacob Buur and will be followed by the opening conference reception. More information on this event can be found here (pdf).

A talk entitled "The Anthropologists are Coming!" is being held as a part of a day-long event organized for the Danish business community to learn more about ethnographic praxis in industry. The talk will include a discussion between Maria Bezaitis, head of People and Practices (PaPR) group at Intel and Jacob Buur, professor of user centered design at the Mads Clausen Institute and head of the Danish Research Center, SPIRE (Sonderborg Participatory Innovation Research Center).

The talk immediately proceeds the opening conference reception and registration. It will be held at the Danish Design School. The exact location can be found here. The talk will be held in the Glass Hall.
