A pre-conference event is being held the afternoon of Wednesday 15 October for the Danish business, research and design communities. This even culminates in the pre-conference talk by Maria Bezaitis and Jacob Buur and will be followed by the opening conference reception. More information on this event can be found here (pdf).
The conference will begin with Breakfast and Registration in the foyer of the main conference hall in the Hovedbygningen on the Frue Plads. See the conference Venue tab on this website for more details on the location and maps.
All sessions of the day-time conference program will be held in the Hovedbygningen with the exception of some workshops which will be held in a building a short walk across the plaza.

The Corporate Gaze: Transparency and Other Organizational Visions
This event promises to be unique and memorable! We will gather at the Nikolaj Copenhagen Contemporary Art Museum, http://www.kunsthallennikolaj.dk/en/, and the beginning of our evening will coincide with a contemporary Art Festival. EPIC attendees will be offered appetizers and drinks while there is a viewing of a film by Jesper Just, a well known Danish video artist.

EPIC2008 Panel: Directors of the Future
This panel aims to challenge participants' ideas about the future of ethnographic praxis in industry. Working with actors from the Dacapo Theatre our panelist will "direct" scenarios of future ethnographic praxis, and then use the scenarios to discuss obstacles for the development of our field.
